Salamanca

After a cancelled flight and a nice night in a hotel in St. Louis, I trecked across the Atlantic Ocean and finally made it to Spain!!! I am in the city where my mom is getting her masters. It is called Salamanca and it is BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely love it. Salamanca is very lively and there are tons of things to do. I joined my family in a fun filled night. Here is a street performer we saw.

He was really good! I also got some pictures of the city as I went around different areas. Here are some of those.

Graduation & Birthday!!!

After 4 years of frying my brain with knowledge, I graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho!!!! Woo!!! It was a great feeling. To add on to that excitement, it was also my 23rd birthday! I got to graduate from college on my birthday! That was quite the experience! My parents couldn't make it because they were on vacation in Spain, but I had many friends come and support. Ben even took video of the graduation. It was great!!! Here's the evidence:

After the graduation ceremony we went to Applebee's for some dinner. I got a free ice-cream sundae since it was my birthday. It was a great time in college. The next morning Ben and I woke up early and started our trip to Missouri. It was a lot of fun, we had a blast! The views were amazing (except when we were crossing Kansas).

It has been such a great weekend spent with family and friends! I love you all! Until next time.....

July 7, 2011 - Independence Day Weekend

This weekend was my fourth time celebrating Independence Day here in the States. Usually I'm in Spain and last year I was in Argentina. To say the least I was pretty darn excited. Ben and I went to Boise to spend the weekend with his family, and by Boise I mean Caldwell (it's close). It was so much fun!

The first day we went four-wheeling in the mountains. I don't know what mountains, but they were a lot of fun. The view was amazing! Let's just say that images can explain better than any of my words will be able to.

As you can see.....sweet times! Sunday we went to church. Ben's mother Vicky gave a great lesson in Relief Society. On Monday we played a little softball with the Hatch family in the morning. At night we went to a stadium to watch the fireworks. More awesomeness!

So lots of pictures to demonstrate the weekend. It was a fun one. Oh, and we didn't have to drive back without the ac working because Ben's dad is a genius and was able to fix mine!!! :) It still works! Until next time!

Peace & Love.
